Z-TEC – Spiral PCD End Mill
Halcyon is one of the leading makers in the field of PCD end mill manufacturing. 
We have registered the patent for the Z-TEC spiral PCD endmill technology developed in-house by Halcyon. The Z-TEC endmill technology allows us to produce PCD endmills with a high helix angle along the cutting edge, minimizing the limitations of PCD endmills concerning helix angle and cutting length.
The Z-Tec Spiral PCD endmill has a tool life that is 15 times longer than that of carbide endmills and 3 times longer than that of conventional PCD endmills. The Z-TEC spiral PCD endmill technology also enables increased cutting speeds, improves surface flatness, reduces cutting forces and processing time, and most importantly, lowers the cost per product.
